Armagh Minis vs Navan Minis

08th January 2008

Last Saturday saw Armagh Minis play host to Navan as a precursor to the AIL Junior Cup match  - over 120 visitors came North and certainly made an impression both on and off the field. Matches were played at all age levels from P4 up to First Year and it's fair to say that overall the visitors were as successful as their senior team proved to be later in the day.

With strong numbers in most age groups Navan proved that little bit more experienced and used their extra power to good effect.

The best performance probably came from their U12 squad, who simply proved far too strong for the Armagh team and won convincingly.

While results were closer in the other age groups, the only successful Armagh team was the P5 group.

However, the P4s fought out an excellent draw with their opponents.

Armagh Minis On The Attack Against Navan

Armagh Rugby Club would like to thank Navan, and in particular Scott Ennis, for organising their first trip to Armagh this season and look forward to welcoming Navan back to the Palace in April for our end of season tournament.

This week, Armagh will host Dromore at the Palace Grounds - players are asked to be at the Club for 10am as usual, there are matches for all age groups from P3 upwards.
