AVIVA Mini Rugby Festival

Ashbourne RFC Co Meath - Saturday 1st October 2011

City of Armagh U/10’s (ie those players born in 2002) have been invited to play in the AVIVA mini rugby festival at Ashbourne Co Meath on 1st October.   We are hoping to bring a squad of 14 players and ALL will take part.

A coach will be provided to bring the squad to Ashbourne and it is expected that a limited number of additional places will be available on the coach.

We are very excited that Armagh’s U/10’s have been invited to this prestigious event and hope that we will be able to bring a full squad of 14 players so we encourage all parents and guardians to send their child along and to attend the event themselves to support our team.

The festival starts at 12.15 but players will require to have arrived by 11.00am therefore the coach will leave from the Rugby Club at 9:00am SHARP.  The festival is expected to finish between 3:30 and 4:00pm and we expect to return to the club between 5:30 and 6:00pm.

We would draw to your attention that all players taking part MUST

- Have registered with City of Armagh RFC. Any players who have not registered should do so as soon as possible and before 1st October. Registration forms are available on the club’s website under the Mini’s section

- Be born no later than 31 December 2002

- Wear a gumshield

- Wear City of Armagh rugby strip.

 Food will be provided but players should also bring snacks and drinks with them
