| Mini Festival a Great Success |
08 April 2013 |
|
|
City of Armagh’s Mini Rugby festival on Saturday 6th April was a roaring success. The organisers would like to thank the large amount of volunteers, sponsors Domino’s Pizza, McShane Packaging and Noel Conn Accountants, as the City club once again hosted the largest Mini Rugby Festival in Ireland. Spring sunshine donned the tranquil setting of the Palace Grounds as the City club brought together clubs from both Leinster and Ulster.
More players than anticipated turned out, approximately 1,100 players taking part. Approximately 100 teams took to part with each team playing playing 5-7 games each depending on the amount of teams within their pools and age groups. Armagh fielded 2-3 teams in each age group providing their players with plenty of rugby cheered on by their many vocal supporters.

| ULSTER MINI RUGBY FESTIVAL @ City of Armagh |
16 MoVember 2012 |
 |
Ulster Rugby Mini Festival @ City-of Armagh Rugby-Club
Sat 17 Nov 2012
Rugby in Ulster is enjoying increasing popularity and today’s grassroots event is a welcome initiative from Ulster Rugby and the sponsors Domino’s.
The popularity of rugby in Armagh is evident as there are currently 247 registered players within City of Armagh’s Mini Rugby structure. Luckily, Armagh has over 30 volunteers to coach and support the young players and events like today will hopefully fuel the enthusiasm for the P3 group.
City of Armagh Rugby Club welcomes all visitors to our facilities at the Palace Grounds and we hope you enjoy the Mini event. For Domino's Armagh we also hope the event provides the exposure for your brand that it deserves, as club rugby depends upon support from companies like yourselves.
For all the young players I hope the event provides you and your supporters with fond memories.
Mark Herron
