The under 18 Ladies team is now in its 5th season having been formed and developed over the past four years by Stan and Cheryl Hamilton.

The girls have been entered for the first time this year in the Ulster League which they are enjoying very much.

Stan has now been joined by new coaches, Leslie McGarity, Charlie Knipe and Shirley-Anne Donaldson and sponsorship requests, as well as fundraising are well underway with a view to buying a new match top.

Partial sponsorship has already been committed by Charlemont Arms Hotel and Donnelly Bros, which the girls are very grateful for.

Training takes place on Monday nights at the Rugby Club grounds between 7:00pm to 8.30pm. Average attendance at training at the Palace Grounds presently numbers between 15 and 20 girls each evening.

All new members aged 12 - 18 would be made very welcome and training and matches are always good fun.

CALENDARS
The Under 18 Ladies have produced a fund raising calendar which all team members have copies of as well as being available from the club and outlets such as Mays and Lilas.

Thank-you so much to all those have already bought one.
