Ivan Clydesdale from Richhill was the lucky winner of £1,000 in the City of Armagh Rugby Club Development Club 's Early Bird Members Draw on 30 December.
The new club which was formed in October 2006 now has a membership of almost 700 which is well ahead of the target for 31 December 2006 of 500.
The aims of the club are to raise funds to enhance the Rugby Club's facilities, grounds and clubhouse. |

A major attraction as a first fund raising initiative is the Grand Members Only Draw for 40 prizes in December 2007.
This includes a new house at Portadown Road Armagh, a new Volkswagen Polo car plus cash prizes ranging from £250 to £3,000.
As membership is restricted to a maximum of 2,000 this gives a one in fifty chance of winning a prize.

The fundraising committee continues to be active in recruiting new members, especially Willie Boyd who has proposed 107 new members to date, only another 193 to reach his target of 300!
