Saturday saw Armagh coach, Colin Steenson, try out several new players. This was forced on Colin due to the plethora of niggling injuries picked up in the winning of the Powerade Towns Cup on Easter Monday.
Armagh are in the very fortunate position of having a very strong under 20’s & under 18’s. These teams have been developing in the background and only go to show that the future of Armagh rugby is bright.
It is a very big leap both physically and physiologically from youth rugby into the senior game. All the young players who took the field on Saturday against Limavady demonstrated both the skill and the physic to compete at the senior level.
